JARED CHASTEEN
The Chasteen family has been an integral part of the Aledo community since 2010. Jared, his wife Adeana, and their children, Andrew and Noah, are active in the Aledo community and members of Aledo United Methodist Church.
Adeana teaches 4th grade at Annetta Elementary, Noah is a freshman at Aledo High School, and Andrew is an AHS graduate and is in his first year of college at Ole Miss. Jared owns and runs a small IT business in Aledo. Jared is a wonderful husband and involved father to Noah and Andrew. He connected with his sons and their friends through a shared love of sports and served as their baseball and basketball coach over the past 13 years. Jared has made an impact on many of his players, cultivating a love of the game, and instilling lifelong values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and dedication to carry his players through life. He has been a positive influence and a blessing to many young people and their families in our community.
In July 2023, Jared was diagnosed with colon cancer. He has undergone surgery to remove the cancer and requires additional treatments. Adeana has taken time off from teaching at Annetta Elementary to care for her husband during this difficult time for their family. The Chasteens are in need of prayers and financial assistance to fight Jared’s cancer. Funds raised at the 2023 Thanksgiving Trot will benefit the Chasteen Family as they face steep medical bills and continued cancer treatment.
The entire Aledo community, friends, and family are invited to join us on the morning of Thanksgiving Day for the 12th Annual Thanksgiving Trot as we come together to support and bless the Chasteen Family who has given much to our children and have greatly enriched the Aledo community.
